Services
Rent Anywhere provides virtual business address services, Google Business Profile setup and management, citation building, and related local SEO services for businesses operating outside their home market. Services are provided on a subscription or one-time basis as agreed upon in your service agreement. Specific deliverables, timelines, and pricing are confirmed in writing before service begins.
Location Programs, Minimum Terms, and Ownership
Location programs are rental arrangements for commercial partner locations used as marketing infrastructure. You are not purchasing the physical location, a leasehold interest, or an ownership interest in the location, and no title or ownership rights are transferred to you. A minimum of 6 locations is required for a location program, with a 1-year (12-month) minimum agreement term. The service agreement controls the exact locations, pricing, term, renewal, cancellation, and transition requirements.
Eligibility
Our services are available to legitimate businesses operating legally within the United States. By engaging our services, you confirm that your business is properly registered and that the services you offer in target markets comply with applicable local, state, and federal laws. We reserve the right to decline service to any business at our discretion.
Google Policy Compliance
Rent Anywhere is an independent service provider and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or certified by Google. Our process is intended to support policy-aware setup, but Google independently controls verification, approval, visibility, ranking, suspension, and reinstatement. We do not guarantee a Google outcome, ranking, lead volume, or uninterrupted listing availability. Clients are responsible for ensuring the business information provided to us is accurate and that their operations are genuinely available in the markets they wish to serve.
Client Responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate business information, maintain any required licenses and permissions, respond to Google verification requests when required, and notify us promptly of changes to your business name, services, operations, or contact information. You are responsible for maintaining access to any Google accounts or email addresses used during setup and for complying with Google's terms, applicable law, and the service agreement. Any access to a physical partner location is limited to the access expressly coordinated for the contracted service; it does not create a right to occupy or operate from that location. You may not ask us to create false reviews, misleading business information, duplicate profiles, or other prohibited content.
Payment and Refunds
Payment timing, refunds, renewal, cancellation, and transition requirements must be stated in the applicable signed service agreement. SMART SERVICES LLC is finalizing the public website language for these topics with business and counsel review; do not rely on this page for definitive payment, refund, renewal, or cancellation terms until that review is complete.
Digital Assets and Buyouts
The physical partner locations made available through a location program are rented marketing infrastructure. They are not sold and you receive no title, leasehold, equity, ownership, or transfer rights in them. Rent Anywhere retains all rights in its platform, software, systems, processes, templates, know-how, partner relationships, and other background materials. A client receives only the limited service rights stated in the applicable service agreement. Ownership or transfer of a separately commissioned digital asset occurs only when the agreement expressly grants it and all required fees have been paid; no ownership is implied by a subscription, rental, setup fee, or access to a deliverable.
Google Business Profiles and Exit Planning
A Google Business Profile is a Google-controlled listing, not a physical location or an automatically transferable deliverable. During a managed engagement, Rent Anywhere may be authorized as a manager or service provider while the client or another authorized account holder remains responsible for the business and its Google account. Google controls ownership invitations, manager permissions, verification, eligibility, content, suspension, reinstatement, and any change of address. We will not represent that a profile can be transferred, retained, merged, or deleted in a particular way until the applicable service agreement, Google's current rules, and the facts of the listing have been reviewed.
Client Data, Management Work, and Listing Materials
Subject to the rights of Google and other third parties, the client retains its rights in its business name, logos, trademarks, domain, phone numbers, business descriptions and other materials the client supplies, together with customer information the client lawfully provides or directs us to process. Rent Anywhere retains its proprietary platform, software, workflows, templates, internal documentation, operating methods, partner relationships, and general know-how. Listing edits, posts, photos, responses, citation submissions, reports, and other work product may combine client materials, third-party materials, platform data, and Rent Anywhere's management work; the applicable service agreement determines any separately commissioned deliverable or license.
Cancellation, Parked Profiles, and Address Continuity
When a managed service ends, the default operating position we intend to use—subject to the signed service agreement, outstanding obligations, Google's rules, and applicable law—is to stop active management, new content operations, citation work, and review-response work and to place the affected profile in a parked or maintenance-ended state rather than promise automatic transfer or deletion. A profile may remain subject to the commercial location arrangement, Google's ownership and manager rules, and address-eligibility requirements; a partner address is not sold or transferred to the client. We will coordinate any agreed transition steps that are feasible under those rules, but the client should not change a listing address, remove access, or publish replacement information without considering Google's requirements and continuity risks.
Content, Citations, Reviews, and Future Support
After cancellation, Rent Anywhere does not promise that posts, photos, profile edits, directory records, citations, or other third-party content will remain live, be removed, or be transferred. Google and each directory or publisher control their own records and may retain, change, suppress, or remove content under their rules. Reviews are user- and platform-controlled; we do not sell, manufacture, gate, or guarantee reviews, and we do not promise that reviews or responses can be moved or deleted. Any export, handoff, cleanup, address change, appeal, monitoring, or other post-cancellation assistance must be agreed in writing, may require a separate fee, and remains subject to platform permissions and third-party decisions.
Client Materials and License
You retain ownership of materials and information you provide to us, subject to your responsibility to have the right to use them. You grant Rent Anywhere a limited, non-exclusive license to host, reproduce, modify, and use those materials only as needed to provide, support, secure, and improve the contracted services. We may retain internal records and work product as required for legal, accounting, security, or operational purposes.
Service Continuity
Virtual address services require a continued relationship with our commercial location partners. In the rare event that a partner location becomes unavailable, we will work to migrate your listing to a comparable address in the same market at no additional cost. We cannot guarantee Google verification timelines, as these are controlled by Google.
Limitation of Liability
Rent Anywhere is not responsible for Google's decisions, third-party platform changes, partner-location availability, market competition, ranking changes, lost leads, or business interruption. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for claims arising from a service is limited to the fees paid for that specific service during the 30 days preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill.
Termination
Termination rights, notice requirements, and the consequences of a termination are governed by the applicable signed service agreement.
